Dear Sirs,
The Executive Committee at its meeting held on January 10, 2011 formed an Ethics Committee to consider the request of Mr. Sardar Khan Niazi for restoration of membership of Daily Action, Karachi and Daily Nawa-e-Nawabshah which were suspended by the Executive Committee of 2009-10 on March 10, 2010 on publication of malicious material against the APNS and its then President.
The Ethics Committee duly authorized to decide the issue, which held its meeting on March 07, 2011 and decided to restore the membership of Daily Nawa-e-Nawab Shah having not published the referred material. It also decided to restore the membership of Daily Action if the publisher, Mr. Sardar Khan Niazi publishes an unconditional and unqualified apology prominently in his newspapers to the satisfaction of Convener of Ethics Committee.
The publisher of Daily Action, Mr. Sardar Khan Niazi published the required apology in its issue of March 09, 2011 which was accepted by the Alternate Convener of the Ethics Committee and decided to restore its membership with immediate effect.
We have therefore, decided to restore the membership of Daily Action and Nawa-e-Nawabshah published by Mr. Sardar Khan Niazi with immediate effect.
