SUB:  NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL COUNCIL MEETING ON THURSDAY, MARCH  31,  2011. 

Dear Sirs, 

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Council Meeting of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society will be held at 11:00 a.m. at APNS Secretariat, Karachi on Thursday, March 31, 2011. 

The AGENDA for the meeting is as under: 

1.         To receive, consider and approve the minutes of the last Annual General
            Meeting held on March 31, 2010. (Minutes enclosed). 

2.         To receive, consider and pass the Annual Report of the Executive Committee for the year 2010-2011 and the Accounts as well as Balance Sheet for the year 2010. (Enclosed) 

3.         To appoint Election Commission & Arbitration Committee. 

4.         To elect members of the Executive Committee for the year 2011-2012. 

5.         To discuss matters of general interest including resolutions or proposals for which 7 days clear notice has been given to the Secretary General. 

6.         To appoint Auditors for the year 2011. 

7.         To discuss any other matter with the permission of the Chairman of the meeting.
