Sub:    Suspension of Business of  WAPDA

Dear Sirs,

Please refer our Circular No.APNS/2010/279 dated December 31, 2010 wherein the ads of WAPDA excluding CENCOs, NTDC, Residual WAPDA and PEPCO Headquarter Classified were suspended.

We have noted that despite suspension of ads, the WAPDA has paid no heed to clear the reported dues of M/s. Mass Advertising (Pvt.) Ltd..

M/s. Mass Advertising (Pvt.) Ltd. have approached us that the dues pertained to the period before the current bifurcation of account by WAPDA and the agency was handling all the releases issued by the Public Relations Department of WAPDA. The agency has therefore, requested to suspend the entire advertising of WAPDA in member publications.

We have therefore, decided to suspend all advertisements of WAPDA including CENCOs, NTDC, Residual WAPDA and PEPCO Headquarter Classified released through any source with immediate effect. This notification supercedes our earlier Circular No.APNS/2010/279 dated December 31, 2010 on the issue.

Member publications are hereby, advised not to accept any advertisement of  WAPDA through any advertising agency / source till further communication by the APNS.
