The  All Pakistan Newspapers Society  has expressed its profound grief over the sad demise of Mr. Minhaj Barna, a renowned journalist and the founder of PFUJ. Mr. Hameed Haroon, President and the Office Bearers of APNS have stated that Mr. Barna had worked with many newspapers and waged a protracted struggle for freedom of press and in this respect, faced imprisonment for several times. 

The APNS Office Bearers observed that the services of Mr. Barna for press freedom will be remembered for long. They prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
