The All Pakistan Newspapers Society has strongly condemned the targeted killing of Mr. Wali Khan Baber, Reporter of a TV Channel by unknown assailants. 

Sarmad Ali, Secretary General, APNS  has stated that the unfortunate killing of young reporter in line of duty is an attack on the freedom of press and a message to the media fraternity to refrain from performing its duties to let the people know. The Secretary General, APNS vowed that the press despite all odds and threats would continue to expose the anti-people and corrupt mafias. The APNS urged upon the provincial government and the police authorities to arrest the killers and provide security to media-men and establishments.

The APNS condoled the  family and the fraternity on the demise of  Mr. Wali Khan Baber and prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
