Sub: Dues against Sindh Govt. for Jan, 2010 to Nov. 2010.
Dear Sirs,
We have to inform you that a meeting with the Secretary Information, Syed Mumtaz Shah and DG Information, Abdul Aziz Uqaili was held on December 07, 2010 at APNS Office, Karachi wherein the issue of long pending dues as well as bills of the current year against Sindh Information was discussed. The officials of Sindh Information stated that except few, all the reported claims for the year 2009 has been cleared. Those publications which have not yet received / settled their dues, may approach the Deputy Director, Sindh Information for reconciliation.
In the meeting, the Secretary Information assured that the efforts are being made to clear the dues for the year 2010. However, due to some technical problems, the dues from July 01, 2010 to November 30, 2010 will be cleared in the next month to ease the liquidity problem of member publications. The dues relating to January 01 to June 30, 2010 will be cleared afterwards.
We shall be grateful, if you will kindly send us your month-wise statements alongwith relevant documents as per following format by December 20, 2010 for the period, January to December 2010, so that the matter be taken up with the Sindh Information Department for payment :
