Ms. Qudsia Kadri,
is the Chief Executive and Editor -in-chief of the Daily Financial Post. She
holds a degree in Law. She started her schooling in Rawalpindi and went on to
canada where she got a degree from Mount Royal College in Calgary in in
Psychology and Political Science.
She has written on various socio-economic issues, taking up causes such as human
rights, abuse, child prostitution and has been involved on committees on racial
and domestic violence against Asian Women during her stay in London from 1989 to
1993. She has worked as Legal Assistant in B.Dave & Company, Solicitors, London,
England. she also worked as legal officer at Lega Aid Centre, Karachi. The
Centre provided free legal assistance to deserving women. she has attended
several seminars on Human resource management and has conducted seminars and
lectures for Petroman as Visiting Faculty in many Organizations. She has
completed a Hypnosis degree with the institute of Mind Sciences in 1997 and is a
certified Hypnotherapist of the National Guild of Hypnotists of America.
in 2002 she was elected Member Executive committee of All Pakistan Newspaers
Society APNS and contiues to hold this post having being elected continuously
for the past six years. She has recently been made a member of the Central Board
of Film Censors.
She writes regularly for the Financial Post on economic, political social and
environment issues.
She has conducted talk shows on private T.V. Channels, on economic, political,
social, environmental and international issues. she has anchored a weekly show
with leading personalities of not only Pakistan, which include the Prime
Minister and heads of all political parties, but also diplomats of countries
such as USA, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, India and many as well
as foreign relations are some of the widely discusses issues. Regional and
bilateral are some of the widely discussed issues. She continues to appear on
various private T.V.channel on talk shows discussing in depth geo-political,
economic and social sstrata of the country.
