Abdul Rashid Ghazi is a graduate and took over Daily Business Report paper after
the death of his father Shah Muhammad Aziz the founder of the paper and is
running the paper ever since then. Morever he Has been Member of the E/C for
many terms. He is joint secretary CPNE for the year 2003-04.
It will not be out of place to mention here that in 1942 i received Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad ali Jinnah at Lallpur (Faisalabad) Railway Station. We were twenty
students who received the Quaid-e-Azam. Mr. Jinnah shook hand with all the
students individually. This was a historical and unforgettable moment of my life
and i feel produce that i took part in the movement of Tehrik-e-Pakistan. I also
remained in District Jail, Lyallpur for Seven days for taking part in this
Tehrik which was a honour to me.
Keeping in view the meritorious services rendered by me for taking part in
Tehrik-e-Pakistan movement Mr. Justice (R) Javed Iqbal, Chairman Tehrik-e-Pakistan
workers Trust and Mr. Majid Nizami awarded me "Tehrik-e-Pakistan Gold Medal" and
Mr. Justice (R) Javed Iqbal put this medal in my Neck. From Faisalabad i was
only one person who received this gracious award.
Some time back when Mr. Shaukat Aziz, Prime Minister of Pakistan visited
Faisalabad i had a occasion to meet him and told the Prime Minister that i am
one of those workers who took part in Tehrik-e-Pakistan movement. At the same
time Prime Minister embrassed me and admired for taking part in this Tehrik and
put the unforgetable day of my life. Governor Lt. General (R) Mr. Khalid Maqbool
who was present there also congratulated me.
